WSandN Awards

The WSANDN Awards are prestigious recognitions given to individuals who make evident and significant contributions to peace, poverty eradication, health, education, technology, and other positive societal impacts. These awards acknowledge efforts both within nations and on a global scale, ensuring that exemplary contributions to humanity are celebrated and recognized.

Establishment
Created in 2023 by WSANDN President-General, Dominion V.Judah Ph.D, a distinguished economist and researcher known for his work in micro and macroeconomic growth, international development, human rights, and international law, the WSANDN Peace Prize is an integral part of the World Subnationals and Nations (WSANDN). With the debut ceremony scheduled to take place in 2025, the awards are intended to be presented annually on December 20th in Washington D.C., USA. The Prize amounts range from $1million to $15million at the international level and $10,000 - $1million at the local/national level, depending on the level of verfiable impact achieved by the awardees. 

Nominations for the WSANDN Awards are open to everyone each year and accepted from recognized individuals who are genuinely dedicated to the work of peace and societal improvement including infuencers at different level. This ensures a diverse range of nominees reflecting various sectors and backgrounds.

General Criteria and Requirements

  1. Significant Impact: Contributions must have a measurable positive effect on society, with a verifiable impact reaching at least 5 million people to be considered for the international awards and 10,000 people for the local awards.
  2. Innovative Approaches: Use of creative or innovative methods to address social issues, promoting peace  unity and societal development.
  3. Sustainability: Initiatives should demonstrate potential for long-term impact and sustainability beyond initial funding or recognition.
  4. Collaboration: Evidence of collaboration with various stakeholders, including governments, NGOs, community organizations, and the private sector. For influencers, online collaboration with other influencers, private sector, NGOs, and government agencies will be considered, provided that the verified outreach throughout the year meets the 5 million or 10,000 people threshold.

Eligibility Requirements

  1. Individual or Organization: Nominations can be submitted for individuals or organizations actively engaged in peacebuilding or societal improvement.
  2. Documented Achievements: Submission of verifiable documentation outlining past achievements, projects, and their outcomes, specifically highlighting those impacting at least 5 million people.
  3. Reputation: Nominees should have a positive reputation and credibility in their field, supported by endorsements or testimonials from recognized entities.
  4. Global or Local Relevance: Contributions can be local, national, or international, but must align with the overarching goals of the WSANDN Awards.  

    Complete Application:

    Nominations must include:

    • A nomination form detailing the nominee’s contributions.
    • Supporting documents, such as project reports, media coverage, live videos, and endorsements.
    • A clear description of the nominee's impact, methods used, and relevance to the WSANDN mission.

Selection Criteria

  1. Measurable Outcomes: Clear metrics demonstrating the impact of the nominee's work, particularly those benefiting 5 million people or more, such as the number of beneficiaries served or changes in community conditions.
  2. Alignment with WSANDN Values: Contributions must align with WSANDN's mission to promote peace, equality, and societal improvement.
  • Deadline Compliance: Nominations must be submitted by the 30th of September each year to ensure timely review and consideration.
  • Late Submissions: Qualified late submissions may be considered for supplementary awards in the following year or scheduled for the next annual award date.

The World Subnationals and Nations Annual Peace Award (WSANDNPA) is an esteemed recognition established to honor individuals and organizations that significantly contribute to global peace, harmony, and the betterment of society. The award aimed towards achieving world peace while preventing and eliminating tensions, terrorism, wars and violence which devastate our planet. 

Award Tiers

The Global Awards include several tiers, each with distinct financial support and recognition:

  • Platinum: $15 million award amount, $1 million expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.
  • Gold: $12 million award amount, $500,000 expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.
  • Silver: $10 million award amount, $300,000 expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.
  • Diamond: $5 million award amount, $200,000 expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.
  • Bronze: $2.5 million award amount, $100,000 expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.
  • Emerald: $1 million award amount, $80,000 expense coverage, and a Gold Medal.

Additionally, other awards are given at the local or national level, with prizes ranging from $10,000 to $1 million, depending on each recipient's level of impact.

· Nominations: Nominations can be submitted by a diverse range of stakeholders, including government officials, academics, civil society leaders, and previous award recipients. Or through a direct nomination by the WSANDN Award Committee member(s).
· Criteria: Recipients are selected based on their outstanding and consistent contributions to promoting peace, resolving conflicts, and advocating for human rights and economic development through any medium.
